RIGA - Latvian national airline airBaltic has extended the cancellation of flights to and from Dubai and Tel Aviv due to the security situation in the Middle East and regional airspace restrictions, the airline informed LETA.

All airBaltic flights to and from Dubai have been canceled until Thursday, March 5, inclusive, as well as Friday's March 6 flight from Dubai to Riga, which was scheduled to depart at 9:30 a.m.

All flights to and from Tel Aviv have been canceled until Monday, March 9. Passengers are advised not to go to the airport until the flight status has been confirmed.

The airline informs that if a flight is scheduled during the aforementioned period, passengers will be provided with a transfer to the nearest available flight or the option to request a refund for their ticket on the website airbaltic.com.

The airline emphasizes that this situation creates uncertainty, so airBaltic is prepared to act quickly, including adjusting flight schedules and operating additional flights to support affected passengers as soon as it is safe to resume flights.

Passengers who purchased tickets directly on the airBaltic website will be informed individually as soon as additional information is available. If the ticket was purchased through a travel agency, the airlines asks to please contact the respective agency.
