RIGA - After a two year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Summer Sound music festival will once again be held in the Latvian coastal city of Liepaja from July 29 to 30, the organizers of the festival informed.
The previous Summer Sound was held in 2019, and was the 9th edition of the festival, which gathered 32,000 participants.
This year's line-up will include many of Latvia's bands and musicians, but the lineup of foreign musicians will be announced at a later date.
Tickets purchased for the cancelled 2020 festival remain valid for this year's event, festival organizers inform.
