A Permanent Office of Monaco at the Palais d'Europe in Riga

Professor Franco BORRUTO's mission to Latvia on behalf of the Department of Social Affairs and Health of Monaco was a success
The mission has significantly and lastingly strengthened Monaco's bilateral relations with this country.
During a series of meetings with the diplomatic authorities of France, Italy, with the Minister of Education and with the deputy head of the Latvian delegation to the European Commission, a permanent office of the Principality in the premises of the Palais d'Europa in Riga has been considered: the deputy head of the Latvian delegation to the European Commission Mr Andris Kuzniesk offered the premises to create a “permanence” where a regular series of cultural activities will be programmed a showcase of the Principality in the Baltic country
The Minister of Health, Christophe Robino, was informed of the talks and of the possible realization of this ambitious project which involves many Monegasque authorities, first and foremost the Ministry of Diplomatic and Consular Relations.

La mission du Pr Franco BORRUTO en Lettonie pour le compte de la Direction des Affaires Sociales et de la Santé de Monaco a été un succès
La mission a renforcé significativement et durablement les relations bilatérales de Monaco avec ce pays.
Lors d'une série de rencontres avec les autorités diplomatiques de France ,Italie ,avec le ministre de l'éducation et avec le chef de la délégation lettone auprès de la Commission européenne, une permanence de la Principauté dans des locaux du Palais d’ Europa à Riga a été envisagé : le deputy head de la delegation Lettonne à la commission Européenne Mr Andris Kuzniesk a offert les locaux pour créer une “permanence “où seront programmés une série régulière des activités culturelles une vitrine de la Principauté dans le pays Balte
Le Ministre de la Santé, Christophe Robino, a été informé des pourparlers et de la possible réalisation de ce projet ambitieux qui implique de nombreuses autorités monégasques, en premier lieu le Ministère des relations diplomatiques et consulaires.
