2022 FIFA World Cup draws over 700,000 viewers in Estonia via public broadcaster ERR

TALLINN - The Argentina-France World Cup final was watched by close to 700,000 people in Estonia via public broadcaster ERR, according to pollster Kantar Emor.

Altogether 641,000 people watched at least one World Cup match for a minimum of 15 minutes via ERR's TV channels, and 50,000 people viewed the tournament on ERR's web channels, according to Kantar Emor.

The Argentina-France World Cup final was watched via the ETV2 television channel by over 40 percent of viewers in Estonia, the pollster said. The penalty shootout at the end of the final had a viewership of 233,000 people via the ETV2 channel, 49,000 people via the ETV+ channel and over 20,000 people on ERR's web channels.

The England-France and Netherlands-Argentina quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup were second in popularity, followed in terms of viewership by the semi-finals and the third place play-off.
