1st deputy chief of Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada to make address to Estonian parlt

TALLINN - First Deputy Chief of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Kornienko has arrived for a visit to Estonia and will make a statement before the Riigikogu on Thursday.

Kornienko will deliver his address to the parliament at a sitting that was scheduled to start at 10 a.m. The statement will be broadcast live on the parliament's website and can be viewed both live and later on the Riigikogu's YouTube channel.

During his visit that lasts until Sunday, Kornienko is to meet with president of the Riigikogu Juri Ratas and deputy chairman of the Riigikogu Helir-Valdor Seeder as well as with President Alar Karis. The first deputy chief of the Verkhovna Rada will also meet with Minister of Social Protection Signe Riisalo, Minister of Economic Affairs and Infrastructure Riina Sikkut, Minister of Culture Piret Hartman, Minister of Defense Hanno Pevkur and Minister of Foreign Affairs Urmas Reinsalu.

Kornienko will also visit the Ukrainian Cultural Center and the Freedom School of Estonia and attend a charity concert at the Tallinn School of Music and Ballet to be held in support of the reconstruction of a music school in Zhytomyr, Ukraine.
