TALLINN – The Russia-based ridesharing platform Yandex Go has launched the technology of automatic monitoring of the speed of vehicles also in Estonia.
The technology is in use in each of the cities where Yandex Go operates, the company announced.
The monitoring system calculates the driver’s speed, and GPS determines the route they travel. It then marks speed limit data on a map and compares it against the driver's speed.
