Wholesaler of food and staples Kaupmees & KO has received the regulator’s permission to acquire a majority holding in Tridens, distributor of numerous well-known beverage and food brands in Estonia.
The acquisition does not entail any changes in the personnel of Tridens. Janno Hert, Reimo Raid and Kristiina Treu will continue as members of the management board. Kaupmees & KO posted sales of 68.6 million euros and Tridens 42.3 million euros in 2015.
