Visit by Bulgarian president to Estonia canceled due to contact with COVID-19 positive

TALLINN - A visit by Bulgarian President Rumen Radev to Estonia has been canceled because Radev has been in contact with a COVID-19 positive person.

The official visit by Rumen Radev scheduled for Tuesday has been called off because it came out on Monday afternoon that, before arrival in Estonia, the Bulgarian head of state was in contact with a COVID-19 positive person, spokespeople for the Estonian president said on Tuesday.

After the information reached Estonia, all necessary measures were taken and the Bulgarian delegation isolated in a hotel.

Nor did the Bulgarian head of state take part in a dinner of The Three Seas Initiative in Tallinn on Monday evening.
