RIGA - Despite the technical problems which has hindered the European Parliament voting process in Latvia the past days, former Latvian President Vaira Vike-Freiberga calls on citizens not to give way to anger and go vote in the EP elections.
In her Facebook account, Vike-Freiberga said that voters cannot believe the notion that their vote will not change or impact anything.
''Lets all go to out registered polling station, choose carefully and vote in respectable candidates from Latvia into the EP,'' the former president said.
As reported, polling stations are open for early voting today from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Polling stations will be open on voting day tomorrow from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Latvian candidates are vying for a total of eight seats in the next EP.
