Vice speaker of Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada Kondratyuk to visit Latvia on Monday

RIGA - On Monday, May 9, Olena Kondratyuk, Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine (Verkhovna Rada), will pay a visit to Latvia.

During a visit to the Latvian Saeima, Kondratyuk will meet with the Speaker of the Saeima Inara Murniece (National Alliance). After the meeting, a joint press briefing is planned.

The Deputy Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, together with the Speaker of the Saeima, members of the Saeima Presidium and members of the cooperation group with the Ukrainian parliament, will also lay flowers at the Freedom Monument. Kondratyuk and Murniece will also visit the Riga Ukrainian Secondary School, as well as attend a concert planned in support of Ukraine at the Latvian National Opera and Ballet, where they will address those present.

During the visit, Kondratyuk will meet with Vice Speakers of the Saeima Dagmara Beitnere-Le Galla (Conservative) and Inese Libina-Egnere (New Unity). Kondratyuk is also scheduled to meet with the cooperation group of MPs with the Ukrainian parliament.

During her visit to Latvia, the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine is also scheduled to meet with President Egils Levits, Minister of Health Daniel Pavluts (For Development), Minister of Education and Science Anita Muizniece (Conservatives), and Riga Mayor Martins Stakis .

Kondratyuk will also visit the Riga Support Center for Ukrainians.
