MEP Viktor Uspaskich, the founder of the Labour Party and a long-term member of the political force, has returned to the Labour Party. "Kedainiai had a council meeting of its branch last Thursday (July 20) and accepted him back to the party," the Labour Party's current leader, Sirvintos Mayor Zivile Pinskuviene, confirmed.
Uspaskich ceased membership in the Labour Party in December of 2015, but sent in a membership application to the party's Kedainiai branch in July this year.
