Unemployment may rise again towards the end of the year, and will be approximately 8 per cent, said Inese Kalvane, head of the Latvian State Employment Agency.
Although the number of unemployed people is dropping, the unemployment level is near to the respective period last year, showing that improvement of the labour market situation has slowed.
