Unemployment in Latvia down to 7 per cent

In the third quarter of 2018, 68,800 people in Latvia were unemployed, which is 7 per cent of economically active population, according to the results of the Labor Force Survey conducted by the Central Statistical Bureau. Compared to third quarter of 2017, the number of unemployed persons has dropped by 1.5 percentage points, and reduced 0.7 percentage points from the previous quarter.
