RIGA - Uldis Mitenbergs has been appointed the head of the Latvian representation at the World Health Organization (WHO), LETA learned from the Health Ministry.
Mitenbergs has been the WHO European consultant since 2018. He has provided recommendations to the Latvian government in development of public health strategy. He has professional experience in development of health care financing strategies, implementation of health care reforms. Also, he has supervised implementation of international programs in development countries.
