KYIV - Ukrainian carrier Ukraine International Airlines" (UIA) will stop flying on the Riga-Kyiv route in mid-November, the company informed Friday.
As of November 16, UIA is also abandoning flights from Kyiv to Minsk and Amman.
UIA explained that the routes had been unprofitable.
UIA opened the route between Boryspil International Airport in Kyiv and Riga in 2015.
UIA closed 2018 with a EUR 97 million loss, which was 8.9 times larger than in 2017.
