Two more high-ranking officials fired from Latvian anti-corruption bureau

The acting head of the Corruption Prevention Bureau (KNAB) has dismissed Lienite Sikore as head of the KNAB Investigations Division and Martins Lode, the deputy of Juris Jurass who has also been fired as head of the Division of Criminal Intelligence Process, LETA has been informed. Yesterday, KNAB acting head Ilze Jurca issued a decree to fire Sikore as of Aug. 26. Lode is also expected to leave office on Aug. 26.
