The Zugspitze Mountain

Wondering through the cobblestone streets of this gorgeous, medieval town is like stepping into the pages of a storybook. Be sure to visit the Councilor’s Tavern (Ratsherrntrinkstube) - the building dates back to the 14 th century, and inside you will find an old mechanical clock whose figurines come to life every time the clock strikes the hour and they tell the bizarre story of the mayor who, in an effort to save his town, had to drink a gallon of wine. The town is particularly stunning in winter, and it hosts a Christmas market that will undoubtedly warm your heart and lift your spirits.

Cologne

If you’re hoping to take in the wonders of Germany’s famous Gothic architecture, Cologne is the city to visit. The Cologne Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is truly a sight to behold.
