Three people were issued residence permits last year on the basis of a special type of residence permit for major investors -- namely, a regulation entered into force at the beginning of 2017 that enables to issue residence permits to those foreigners who have made a direct investment of at least one million euros into a company included in the commercial register of Estonia.
