RIGA - With no official candidates chosen yet to replace Gatis Truksnis (Greens/Farmers), who has been dismissed as mayor of Latvia's seaside resort town Jurmala, three councilors are presently viewed as unofficial candidates to fill the vacant seat office, the surveyed members of the city council said.
The three possible candidates for Jurmala mayor are acting mayor Rita Sproge (Greens/Farmers), Iveta Blaua (Unity), and Janis Ledins (Greens/Farmers).
