This May has been coldest in this century in Latvia

RIGA - Last month in Latvia had been the coldest May since 1999, according to the data by the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology. The average monthly air temperature was +9.5 degrees C or 1.9 degrees below the average temperature in 1981-2010. This May, the temperature did not raise above +22 degrees C, while the lowest registered temperature was -2.6 degrees on May 8 in Stende. Five coldest temperature records were beaten in May.
