Vilnius Gabija Progymnasium has been the only school so far to see an internal spread of the coronavirus. In all other educational establishments, students or teachers got infected from contacts with ill family members or other people outside their school.

At Vilnius Gabija Progymnasium, eight people have tested positive for COVID-19, and 100 students and around 20 teachers are in isolation, Razmuviene said.

The school's grades 5 to 8 are switching g to remote teaching and learning because of the coronavirus outbreak. The school's first positive case was confirmed last week.
