The program of the 31st Riga Fashion Week is announced

This fall, RIGA FASHION WEEK will take place from October 29 to November 2. Riga Fashion Week will host fashion shows by top Latvian fashion artists and designers invited from other countries, and various business-oriented and entertaining events.

The spring-summer 2020 collections on the big podium of RFW will be presented by the following Latvian brands: Amoralle, Anna Led, Berg Prive, Katya Katya London, MCouture, Natalija Jansone, Nolo, Noname Atelier, a newcomer - Selina Keer, kids fashion brands - Aristocrat Kids, Baronessa and Rock and Mouse, as well as four foreign brands - Caterina Moro from Italy, Diana Arno and Marimo from Estonia and Zephyras from Lithuania.

On October 30, the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design will host a media meeting with the designer duo MAREUNROL'S and a tour at their exhibition "MAREUNROL'S. Altered States of Fashion".

Several Latvian fashion designers will organise separate presentations of their collections. On Tuesday, October 30, Bonbon Shoes store at 33 Brivibas Street will host a presentation of the Sin on the Beach silk scarf collection and artworks. At the end of the day, accessories designer Ksenia Danilova will present her hat collection, followed by a party at Imagehouse, Brivibas Street 40. On October 31, an evening presentation and party will be hosted by ArtJam at Chang Bar, P. Brieza Street 3.

Showroom INTRO, located on the 4th floor of the shopping mall Galleria Riga, will organize a presentation of Baltic designer collections for international media and buyers on October 31. During RFW Showroom INTRO will host special showcase with versatile brands like The Korsar, Tiina Talumees, Zefyras, Dace Bahmann and many more form the Baltics. Visitors will get seduced by The Korsar with noble materials and contemporary design approach that wraps around an elegant bouquet of colours. The brand Tiina Talumees brings to the floor limited edition of marvellous couture dresses side by side with elegant urban pret-a-porter clothing.

The opening of the "Bruno Birmanis LivingRoom" will take place on November 1 at the new premises of BOLD Concept Store at Blaumana Street 7. This will be the place where Bruno Birmanis, one of the most prominent people in the Latvian fashion industry, will work, and will be available to his clients, friends and associates for meetings, orders and other Bruno Birmanis events.

Vintage clothing store "Volga Vintage" this season is organizing its own performance "Volga Museum" on November 1 in the building of the Latvian Artists' Union. Interestingly, Sergei Hatanzejski, the founder and creative director of the brand, recently became the stylist for the current advertising campaign for Madara Cosmetics's new make-up line, where Volga's costumes are spotted.

The Coyote Fly Lounge Club will traditionally host two public events that anyone who is interested will be able to attend: on Friday, November 1, RFW Party with DJ Makree & Magnuss Erins and Volga Vintage Fashion Show, and on November 2, Saturday, RFW Party with DJ Markus Riva & Rodion Gordin and a fashion show by the students of the Latvian Academy of Arts, where Laine Rosensteina, Milana Felicija Semjonova, Anna Jurjane, Tereze Steinbluma, Laura Luize Valtere will demonstrate their works.
