Lithuanian Post, which is actively preparing for expansion in the Baltic States, has already installed more than 40 Unisend parcel lockers in various cities across Latvia and Estonia. Customers in all three Baltic states will be able to easily send and receive parcels using these parcel lockers already this spring.

In total, Unisend network will consist of around 750 parcel lockers in the region, with around 300 of them being in Latvia and Estonia. A total investment of over EUR 4 million will be allocated for this development.

"As e-commerce continues to grow and international e-commerce platforms view the Baltic States as a single market, we are ready to become a trusted parcel delivery partner across the region. Already this spring Unisend will be ready to deliver our promise to customers – Send. Receive. Easy," says Rolandas Zukas, CEO of Lithuanian Post.

LP EXPRESS, parcel delivery network by Lithuanian Post, launched a new brand name Unisend for Latvian and Estonian markets. The new Unisend brand also will gradually appear this year also on more than 430 parcel lockers in Lithuania.

Currently, 6 out of 10 parcels in Lithuania are delivered through parcel lockers. In the Baltic States, the volume of parcels traveling through parcel lockers is increasing around 11% annually, mostly due to a rapidly growing e-commerce market.
