The best Italian music from the Carousse to Chelentano will be played in Dzintari

On August 14, in the framework of the festival “Summertime – Inese Galante & Friends”, the well-known Italian singer Giovanni Costello, who’s admired by audiences all over the world and is a conqueror of women’s hearts across the globe, will present his first solo concert in Latvia, Jurmala. He will also perform at the Gala concert of the festival on August 12 – in his unique manner Costello will perform hits and ballades of famous Italian singers, such as Carousse and Chelentano, as well as hits from the well-known Italian singer’s Paolo Conti repertoire.

It will be the first performance in Latvia of this spectacular, charismatic Italian Giovanni Costello, yet his recent concerts in Los Angeles, Miami and Naples were astonishing, earning standing ovations. In Jurmala, in his solo concert, the musician will perform compositions of legendary Paolo Conti, as well as ballads of a great Italian tenor Enrico Carousse, songs of ingenious Adriano Chelentano and many other most beloved Italian hits.

"By performing compositions of Italian musical legends, I do not seek to resemble them, I remain myself, including in these songs my vision of the world and giving listeners not only music, but also all of my love," says G. Costello.
