The Baltics’ biggest candy lovers live in Estonia and Latvia

Figures from the newest Maxima Retail Compass industry overview reveal that the average Latvian eats 3.9 kilograms of chocolate every year, just a bit less than the average Estonian. Meanwhile, a survey conducted as part of the research shows that 67% of Latvians eat candy several times a week or even daily. People most often eat candy because they “crave” something tasty, as stated by 77% of respondents.
