Swedbank named the most popular employer in Latvia in 2022

RIGA - Swedbank has been named the most popular employer in Latvia for the fifth year in a row, as representatives of employment agency CV-Online Latvia, the organizer of the "Top Employer 2022" survey, informed LETA.

Latvijas Aptieka chain of pharmacies, which enters the list of Latvia's best employers for the first time, has been awarded the title of the fastest growing company in Latvia.

Riga Stradins University has been named the most popular employer in public sector and Latvijas Mobilais Telefons mobile network operator the best employer in the IT and telecommunications industry.

Swedbank has been repeatedly named the best employer in the financial sector, therefore winning two awards.

Air Baltic Corporation has once again been named the best employer in the transport and logistics industry, and Lidl Latvija SIA the most popular employer in retail trade for the second year in a row.

In manufacturing, Madara Cosmetics was named the most popular employer for the second time, while Circle K Business Center won the title of best employer in the category of international business services again.

Hotel Jurmala SPA is the most popular employer in the HoReCa segment.

In the regions, Lauma Fabrics textiles producer was named the best employer in Kurzeme, Dobeles Dzirnavnieks grain processing company in Zemgale, Cesu Alus brewery in Vidzeme, and Latvijas Maiznieks bakery in Latgale.

The "Top Employer" survey has been carried out annually for twelve years, and this year it was conducted from January 16 to February 28 by interviewing 15,917 respondents across Latvia.
