Suspicious drones a headache at Latvian prisons

Suspicious drones are causing security problems at Latvian prisons, as they are being used to deliver illegal items to prison inmates and spy on the activities behind the prison walls. During a Saeima Defense, Internal Affairs and Corruption Prevention Committee meeting, Latvian Prison Administration head Ilona Spure said that prisons are combatting the use of these drones with the methods available to them, but that current regulations do not allow prison authorities to shoot them down.
