Gatis Truksnis, the mayor of the Latvian seaside resort town Jurmala, is suspected of violations in the financing of political parties, Latvian media sources have reported.
Truksnis’ lawyer Janis Rozenbergs refused to comment on the suspicions on Tuesday, Oct. 4, only confirming that his client had not been incriminated with corruption.
