Summer Months less popular than September for Lithuania’s Domestic Tourism

VILNIUS - Summer holidays may have seemed to be the most popular time for Lithuanians to go on vacation. But that’s not so. A clear seasonal pattern on the tourism activity of residents of the European Union (EU) can be observed. The summer season (June-September) accounts for more than half (51.9 percent) of the total number of tourism nights spent by EU residents during the whole year.
