Stores in shopping centers with separate entrance will be allowed to operate

RIGA - Those stores in shopping centers that have a separate entrance will be allowed to operate, according to the government's decision on amendments to the epidemiological regulations proposed by the Economics Ministry.

The current regulations state that stores outside the large shopping centers are allowed to operate.

The Economics Ministry explained that a separate entrance means that customers are able to enter the store from open territory, such a street of yard, without entering the shopping center.

According to the ministry's data, there are about 21,413 retail spots with 86,278 employees in Latvia, of them about 20,000 were opened starting from April 7. while operation of 1,500 retail spots is still restricted.
