RIGA - The State Security Service (VDD) has carried out searches at locations in Riga and the surrounding area associated with seven persons in connection with possible violations of European Union sanctions, LETA was informed by the VDD.
Procedural actions were performed in the criminal proceedings investigated by the VDD, which was initiated on January 16 this year in accordance with the Article of the Criminal Law On Violation of Sanctions Imposed by the European Union and Other International Organizations or National Sanctions Imposed by the Republic of Latvia.
