Foreign tourists and other visitors from abroad spent a total of 1.095 billion Euros in Lithuania last year, up by 4 per cent, from 1.053 billion Euros spent in 2015, data from Statistics Lithuania showed. Spending by foreign travellers with at least one overnight stay increased by an annual 5 per cent to 806.4 million Euros and spending by same-day foreign tourists was up by 1.3 per cent to 288.6 million Euros, the office said.
