Some 50,000 Lithuanians support European initiative on family definition

Around 50,000 people in Lithuania have supported a European initiative to define marriage as a union between a man and a woman and family as based on marriage or descent, the Free Society Institute, a Lithuanian civil initiative group, said. The signatures collected in Lithuania were submitted to the country's Central Electoral Commission on Thursday.
