TALLINN - Following Estonia’s parliamentary elections in March, the Social Democratic Party have remained junior coalition partners in the Estonian Government. Last Saturday, the general assembly of the Social Democratic Party elected the young Russian speaking MP Jevgeni Ossinovski as the new chairman, Public Broadcasting reports.
The previous chairman, defence Minister Sven Mikser announced at the assembly of withdrawing his candidacy for the post.
