Lithuania’s ruling Social Democratic Party (LSDP) continues to top popularity rankings, followed by the Lithuanian Peasant and Greens Union and the conservative Homeland Union-Lithuanian Christian Democrats (TS-LKD), according to an opinion poll released by the Delfi.lt news website on Tuesday, July 12.
Some 16.8 per cent of respondents said in late June that they would vote for Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius’ LSDP if general elections were held next Sunday, up from 15.5 per cent who said so a month earlier.
