Slovenian foreign minister Anze Logar to visit Latvia

RIGA - Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics (New Unity) is scheduled to meet with his Slovenian counterpart Anze Logar who will arrive in Latvia on a working this Wednesday. 

The talks between the Latvian and Slovenian foreign ministers are expected to deal with the two countries' bilateral relations, the European Union's (EU) affairs and priorities of the upcoming Slovenian presidency of the Council of the EU in the second half of 2021. 

The two ministers are also going to discuss foreign relations issues, including Russia, Belarus, the EU's Eastern Partnership program, as well as transatlantic relations, security policy matters and regional cooperation formats like the Three Seas Initiative, the Foreign Ministry said.
