RIGA - Prime Minister Evika Silina (New Unity) is on a working visit to Ukraine from today until Friday, the Prime Minister's Office informed LETA.
During the visit, she will meet with Ukrainian officials and take part in events to discuss Latvia's future military, political, humanitarian, financial and other support to Ukraine until its victory over Russia and Ukraine's course to join the European Union and NATO.
Silina stressed that the Latvian public understands that the Ukrainian people are defending themselves heroically and selflessly against evil - Ukrainians are fighting for their land, their families, European values and European security.
"Latvia - not only the Government, but our entire society - will remain clear and unwavering in its support for Ukraine in its fight against the aggressor and for its Euro-Atlantic integration," the Prime Minister stressed.
