RIGA - Prime Minister Evika Silina (New Unity) will today attend a meeting of the leaders of the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) in Copenhagen, Demark, focusing on support to Ukraine, the prime minister's spokeswoman Anna Udre told LETA.
The meeting, initiated by Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, will also be attended by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The leaders are expected to discuss current issues concerning the provision of support to Ukraine.
Denmark is this year's presidency of the Nordic-Baltic cooperation format, which brings together Latvia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden. This will be the first face-to-face meeting of the NB8 leaders during the Danish presidency.
