Seimas speaker: child money should be 100-150 euro

Child money in Lithuania should be between 100 and 150 euros, says Parliamentary Speaker Viktoras Pranckietis. "A minimum of one hundred euros, (…) possibly up to 150 euros. It would be very good under the current conditions," the parliamentary speaker said. In his words, the experience in Poland shows that higher benefits for children boosted the birth rate and curtailed alcohol consumption levels.
