RIGA - A Latvian resident who was caught collecting classified information for a foreign country has been remanded in custody under a court ruling, BNS learned from the Security Police (DP).
DP spokeswoman Liga Petersone said that criminal action was taken on Sept. 27, based on an assessment of counterintelligence obtained over a longer period of time.
