RIGA - Scheduled hospital services will be suspended for two weeks, Health Minister Ilze Vinkele (For Development/For) said after the Cabinet of Ministers and the Crisis Management Council's joint meeting on Tuesday. This because there are around 1,000 Covid-19 patients being treated in hospitals at the moment, explained Vinkele. These patients require immediate assistance as they have breathing difficulties, and that is not something that can wait, said Vinkele.
