RIGA – Three representatives of the Russian army on March 18-20 will conduct the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe's (OSCE) arms control inspection in Latvia, the Latvian Defense Ministry informed.
The Russian arms control inspectors will visit the Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Land Forces in Adazi military base to make sure that the general military information Latvia provides about this brigade on an annual basis is true
In accordance with OSCE quotas, Latvia has to host one evaluation visit and three arms control inspections a year. Likewise, Latvia conducts arms control inspections and evaluation visits in other OSCE member states under the Vienna Document.
