RIGA - Of the 21 Latvian universities rated on the U-Multirank World University Rankings 2022, Riga Technical University (RTU) earned the highest number of top-level (A) scores.
In all, RTU received A scores in 15 categories in the latest U-Multirank, RTU spokeswoman Dita Araja informed LETA.
EKA University of Applied Sciences was ranked second among Latvia's universities with 12 A-level scores and Riga Stradins University (RSU) ranked third with A-level scores in 12 categories and and B-level (good) scores in nine categories.
U-Multirank is a multidimensional, user-driven approach to international ranking of higher education institutions. It compares the performances of higher education institutions – in short: universities – in the five dimensions of university activity: teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation and regional engagement.
The U-Multirank web tool enables comparisons at the level of the university as a whole and at the level of specific study programs.
