Rinkevics to meet with Belarusian Foreign Minister Makei in Minsk

RIGA - Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics (New Unity) will have a meeting with Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei, the Foreign Ministry told LETA.

Rinkevics will be on a working visit to Minsk on July 25 and 26, where he will have meetings with Makei and other officials of Belarus.

Discussions will touch on bilateral relations including economic cooperation, the top issues in European Union-Belarus relations, and regional security questions.

Rinkevics will take part in the launch of the exhibition Horizonts (Dalyaglyad) at the National Library of Belarus, celebrating both the 100th anniversary of Latvia's National Library and the centenary of the Republic of Latvia.
