About 1,000 students gathered in Riga on Monday, Oct. 31, for march in support of adequate financing for higher education. The march was joined by administration and lecturers of several universities. The students have come from different Latvian cities, representing the state and regional higher educational institutions.
Participants were holding flags of universities and faculties, as well as different posters and amplifiers.
