RIGA - This year's Rimi Riga Marathon was held peacefully and without any incidents, the organizers informed LETA.
The organizers noted that according to the Emergency Medical Service (NMPD), the event passed off peacefully and without any major incidents.
The State Police confirmed to LETA that the marathon was peaceful and incident-free from the point of view of traffic control and public order.
As reported, the Rimi Riga Marathon took place for the 36th time. This year 46,313 participants from 116 countries registered for the marathon.
