RIGA - Work on the Riga coalition cooperation has been completed, and in order for it to be signed the election results must first be confirmed, presumptive Riga Mayor Martins Stakis (For Development) told LETA.
The editorial corrections and the coalition cooperation agreement were completed on Friday, as well as the work program is ready as well. However, the partners have agreed to disclose the documents only when the results of the Riga City Council extraordinary elections have been approved, Stakis added.
Therefore, next week, politicians expect court decision that will allow to confirm the election results, which means that the leaders of the factions will be elected and the cooperation documents will be signed.
