Revenue to Latvia's basic budget at 93.5 pc of target in 2017

Revenue to the Latvian central government basic budget in 2017 was at 93.5 percent of the target, the Finance Ministry said. The planned revenue was EUR 5.76 billion but the actual revenue in 2017 was EUR 5.39 billion. Actual tax revenue was EUR 4.16 billion last year, accounting for 101.6 per cent of the target which was set at EUR 4.09 billion. Tax revenues collected in 2017 were by EUR 315.6 million higher than in 2016. Non-tax revenue in 2017 was EUR 418.8 million or at 100.7 per cent of the target and by EUR 55.2 million lower than in 2016. Expenditure in the Latvian central government...
