ReputationTime conference to be held in Riga

RIGA - On May 12, the third reputation management conference ReputationTime about communication challenges during the digital era will be held in Riga, said the project manager Ieva Keviesena.

The conference will search for the answers on how technologies empower us to communicate and connect, and what are the challenges and strategies to win over people’s minds and hearts in this very disruptive environment.

Janis Sarts, Director of the NATO StratCom COE and former Latvian State Secretary of Defense; Edijs Boss, Journalist, presenter with almost 20 years experience working for various news organizations, Ph.D. in International Politics, Assistant Professor at Riga Stradins University; and Micha Bruinvels, Director of Contests at World Press Photo from the Netherlands will speak about how to recognize fake news and how to fight against them.

Axelle Lemaire, Former Secretary of State in charge of the Digital Economy in the French Government, will speak about digital technologies and future of societies, while Christophe Ginisty, Digital Strategist, Social media intelligence expert, founder of AGOREP, Creator of the ReputationTime cycle of conferences from France, and George Candon, Senior Director and Head of Crisis Communications at FTI Consulting in Brussels, will speak about corporate crisis and solutions.

Mirik Milan, The Night Mayor of Amsterdam and an experienced creative director for events, and Helen Sildna, Founder of Tallinn Music Week, will speak about advantages of the digital future, and the role of creativity and innovations.

During the conferences, there will also be masterclasses held by Latvian PR expert Jurgis Liepnieks, Christophe Ginisty, and Janis Sarts.

The conference will gather more than 250 business leaders, public opinion makers, communication and marketing professionals, media representatives and students.

ReputationTime is organized by reputation management company Lejina & Sleiers in cooperation with NGO Nordic Reputation Hub. ReputationTime conference is also organized in Paris and Brussels.
