Real estate investor "Baltic RE Group" has attracted a loan of 10,500,000 euros from "BluOr Bank". The received financing will be used for the smart refinancing of existing long term credit facilities, as well as for financing the redevelopment of two real estate objects in Riga - the upcoming "Il Giardino" office complex at Citadeles 9a andthe renovation of the historic six-story building at 2 Kr. Barona Street.
The company plans to complete the redevelopment of the area in the office complex Citadeles 9a, located near Kronvalda Park, within the next few months. The three-story building in the very heart of the city, on the edge of the Riga Canal, will offer spacious functional office space with an area around 1,600 m2, and will be surrounded by a garden with more than 100 flowering fruit trees.
Renovation works have also begun actively in the historic, six-story building designed by architect Janis Fridrihs Baumanis and built in 1881 at Krišjāņa Barona Street 2, which is being carried out in collaboration with the Italian architect Adriano Castiglioni. The renovation of the building is proceeding in accordance with both the guidelines for the preservation of the historical heritage and the principles of environmental sustainability. After the implementation of the project, the building will offer top quality commercial spaces of more than 4,000 m2.
